1. Zero-Backend Procedural Audio Privacy

ZenWave Studio is engineered using the browser-native Web Audio API. Unlike traditional streaming audio platforms:

• Zero Microphone Access: We never request access to, listen to, or record audio from your microphone or input devices.
• Zero Sound Harvesting: All procedural soundscapes (white noise, rain, ocean, binaural beats) are synthesized in real-time mathematically on your local device CPU/GPU.
• Zero Server Audio Telemetry: No sound recordings or audio packets are transmitted back to our servers or stored on remote databases.

2. Cookies, Web Beacons & Advertising Partners

Like many modern web platforms, ZenWave Studio may use cookies to improve user experience, monitor site performance, and display non-intrusive advertisements that support our free service.

Google AdSense & DoubleClick Cookie Compliance

3. Browser LocalStorage & Shareable Mix Hashes

To provide a frictionless user experience without mandatory user accounts:

• Local Sound Presets: Your volume sliders, active sound combinations, and Pomodoro timer preferences are saved exclusively in your browser's private localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• URL Mix Sharing: When you share an audio mix, the active volumes are encoded into a base64 URL hash (e.g. /#mix=...). No data is created or logged on our servers during the generation or opening of mix links.

4. Standard Server Log Files

ZenWave Studio follows standard hosting log file procedures. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

5. GDPR & CCPA Data Protection Rights
